Lost Planet 2 – The game E3 forgot.
Posted June 10, 2009 – in: Blog, Games, Sony, Valve, xbox 360I am excited for Lost Planet 2. After playing the demo on XBL but passing on a retail copy, I finally picked it up cheap on the PC (thanks Valve). After playing it for a few hours I realized how great it is. The monsters are epic and the tension is good. Capcom revisits the franchise and takes us out of the cold. However, I worry that the locale of the first title will hurt sales for what will most likely be an amazing game.

Posted May 14, 2009 – in: Blog, TechnologyNintendo 64 title GoldenEye is a classic title and seems like a perfect fit for the Wii’s Virtual Console. Seems, that is.
Alas, the Rare development game doesn’t look like it will because of sticky legal issue: Rare is owned by Microsoft so that nixes the Virtual Console, and GoldenEye was first released on the N64 so that makes an XBLA release hard.

Here’s the vid.
