Palm says no webOS SDK till end of Summer (and it matters because?)

It’s nice of Palm to say no to the SDK but haven’t they already been beaten to the punch? I mean if they’ve already got root, then the next step is “All ur Base are belong to us”. The mods coming out already are amazing.

Palm Pre gets Doom on the Pre before the iPhone – Kind of

It’s the first substantial piece of software brought onto the Pre via the Konami Hack. Now Doom has been ported to the platform with relative ease (and a few bugs of course). I knew a decent phone with linux for a brain was an awesome bad idea!

Best Buy Mobile to get some Pre stock on June 7th? – Engadget

I am seriously considering this for my new smartphone. I love my iPhone but the pre looks good, has a full keyboard and I can buy from the amazon store which i prefer over iTunes (no real reason other than I am familiar with how to use their service and became a user over their DRM policies).

It’s not clear exactly where these pics came from, but here’s the Palm Pre, running what appears to be a YouTube app and the email app. We’re of two minds on these: there’s no doubt there are devices in the wild, so these shots could be totally real, but something about them just feels off –
