Palm Pre hacked and running on Verizon

Yeah the iPhone is a great device but all this upgrade really does is offer features the phone should have and could have done much sooner. It’s not the typical innovation we have come to expect from apple. I think the company is a little hesitant to make quantum leaps without Jobs at the helm (at least for now).

Now Doom has been ported to the platform with relative ease (and a few bugs of course). I knew a decent phone with linux for a brain was an awesome bad idea!

The hardware quality is what seems to be a downer to this phone. I really liked Gizmodo’s take on it compared to the iPhone and my feeling are right in line with the editor.
