NVIDIA Tegra smartphone due from a “top five” manufacturer before 2010?

Posted June 4, 2009 – in: Blog, Technology, Web, Windows, netbooksI want a netbook. But I have biding my time as the current gen seems a little underpowered. I want to be able to watch a decent res video on a plane flight from NY to CA (typically 5hours on the longest leg). The second gen looks like it might give me what I want and more. Dual core Atom with nVidia’s new Tegra platform is making the netbook look very attractive. Now I won’t have to lug my MacBook around worrying about it getting stolen/damaged.

Real world tests have yet to have been conducted by online reviewers but it looks promising. Engadget has the specs:
