Snakr RSS reader – Lightweight, Pretty, RSS reader

I have never been a fan of RSS. I don’t subscribe to any because I always had issue with how the data was laid out. One day I was surfing the internet and I was looking for a way to build an RSS base application using Adobe Air. I like Air because it’s lightweight and cross platform. While searching I came across Snackr. It allows you to scroll your feeds along the edge of your desktop. It is very unobtrusive and looks very nice. I leave it run and occasionally glance at it to see what’s going on in the world. If you are a fan of cool desktop widgets and/or RSS, I highly recommend Snackr.
Here’s how their site describes Snackr:
“What’s Snackr? It’s an RSS ticker that pulls random items from your feeds and scrolls them across your desktop. When you see a title that looks interesting, you can click on it to pop up the item in a window.”
