AppleInsider | Next-gen iPod touch, iPhone to support low-power 802.11n

AppleInsider posted that embedded inside the iPhone 3.0 software hints at a low-power wireless N network interface in the next generation iPhone/iPod Touch.
As people hack the Beta code more and more I think we will find more details about future iPhone releases.
I am personally looking toward either the Palm Pre, Nokia N97 or the next gen iPhone as my next upgrade. Let me know what you think.
Wireless radio component specifications contained within beta distributions of iPhone 3.0 firmware reveal support for a new chip enabling low power 802.11n that’s bound for Apple’s third-generation iPod touch. It’s therefore also likely to be included with new iPhone models.
