Posted June 10, 2009 – in: Blog, Games, Sony, Valve, xbox 360I am excited for Lost Planet 2. After playing the demo on XBL but passing on a retail copy, I finally picked it up cheap on the PC (thanks Valve). After playing it for a few hours I realized how great it is. The monsters are epic and the tension is good. Capcom revisits the franchise and takes us out of the cold. However, I worry that the locale of the first title will hurt sales for what will most likely be an amazing game.

Posted June 3, 2009 – in: Blog, Games, SonyWhen I bought my PS3 I bought a ton of Blu-Ray movies….. then I remembered it could play games. My girlfriend at the time said that Ratchet and Clank was a good franchise on the PS2. So I decided to pick it up. RaC is great cartoon platformer with an array of cool weapons and a cute (but kind of shallow) story. If you like 3d person shooters, platformers or Pixar films than you might like RaC.

Though a little hobbled by its resemblance to some sort of nightmare sex toy, and of course by Microsoft’s Natal reveal the day before, the stick ‘n’ ball wand certainly puts Nintendo’s Wii controller to shame.
