Xbox Live’s Return Brings Xbox Live Issues – Xbox Live
Posted June 17, 2009 – in: Blog, Games, xbox 360Kotaku brings word of the return of Xbox Live, complete with bugs and intermittent outages. I still haven’t turned my Xbox 360 in over a year since I got it back from it’s red-ring-o-death. Allan Wake may change that.

Posted June 12, 2009 – in: Apple, Blog, Cell Phone, Games, Technology, iPhoneThe iPhone is turning into the quite the gaming platform. Doom Resurrection is a great example of this. The new Doom on the iPhone is an on-rails shooter much like the 90’s arcade light gun games (Area 51, Timecop, etc.).

Posted June 11, 2009 – in: Blog, Games, SonyTeam ICO is back with a new adventure titled “The Last Guardian”. Details about the actual story are scarce but from what I have seen in the videos/screenshots it looks like a story about a boy and his Griffin.

Posted June 10, 2009 – in: Blog, Games, Sony, Valve, xbox 360I am excited for Lost Planet 2. After playing the demo on XBL but passing on a retail copy, I finally picked it up cheap on the PC (thanks Valve). After playing it for a few hours I realized how great it is. The monsters are epic and the tension is good. Capcom revisits the franchise and takes us out of the cold. However, I worry that the locale of the first title will hurt sales for what will most likely be an amazing game.

Posted June 4, 2009 – in: Blog, Games, Nintendo, xbox 360I want to box, golf and swing a sword in a video game. But from what I have seen of the Wii, the lack of 1:1 control and immediate response is a hindrance that is typically more trouble than it’s worth.
