Bill Hicks “Thoughts on Rick Astley”

Those people who know me know that I love a good a laugh. I am a very cynical and sarcastic person who seems to rarely lack a some snarky retort to any statement in any situation. That being said I would ike to say that love comedy, and one of my top five comedians is the late great Bill Hicks. Bill Hicks for those who don’t know was a comedian in the 80′s who was absolutely amazing and way ahead of his time.

I recently “netflixed” one of his performances titled “Bill Hicks – Sane Man” in which he goes on about Pop music figures of the time. I was in the middle of a late night work session when I came across this……

How amazing! I can only imagine what Bill would have to say if he could see what’s become of Rick Astley and the “rickrolling” phenomenon. I imagine that wherever he is he’s laughing his ass off at just how wonderfully stupid weve all remained.
